Head-on collision with injuries on 61 North

A report came in around 2:15 p.m. today of a head-on collision with injuries on U.S. Highway 61 North in front of Merit Health River Region hospital.
From the police reports, first responders are assisting a 71-year-old female who appears to be having chest pains.
A 35-year old female is non-responsive on the scene.
We will update this story as we get more information.
