Hinds CC soccer coach Williams announces retirement

Hinds Community College boy’s soccer coach Doug Williams has announced retirement after 21 years as head coach of the Eagles.

Williams has a overall 225-85-20 record with Hinds CC. He started off as a graduate assistant in 1998, then took over the team in 2000 where he began an outstanding career and had been named the MACCC Coach of the Year ten times.

Before coaching, Williams was a player at Hinds CC in 1993-1994 before moving on to the University of Mobile.

Hinds has not announced Williams’ replacement yet.
