Hinds County Sheriff’s Office is searching for an escaped juvenile

Hinds County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a juvenile who escaped from Henley-Young Youth Detention Center on McDowell Road on Tuesday.

According to Sheriff Tyree Jones, the suspect was booked under the name of “Andrew Matthews” but it is believed the name is an alias.

He was last seen near Jackson State University in the Washington Addition wearing a red jumpsuit.
