Vicksburg native Anna Hoben recently finished her last season of college soccer at Hinds Community College.

“It’s hard walking away from a sport I have loved playing since I was four, but I take with me the cherished memories and friendships made along the way,” Hoben said. I want to thank all the coaches and teammates I have had throughout the years for everything. As the saying goes all good things must come to an end, and as this chapter closes I look forward to the next.”

Hoben, who played goalkeeper, finished her final season by facing 152 shots with a total of 91 saves. She also had a 69.5% saving average.

After graduating from Warren Central High School in 2020, Hoben first played for Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College before heading to Hinds CC. She will now be attending the University of Southern Mississippi as a Biomedical Sciences major.
