Human remains found near a water tower in Hinds County

Human remains were found were discovered in Hinds County on Christmas Day.
Hinds County Sheriff Tyree Jones confirmed that a decomposed body was found on Wynndale Road near a water tower.
“Investigators are working to identify the remains and a possible cause of death,” Sheriff Jones said. “Remains appear to have been at the location for a long period of time.”
No details on if foul play was involved at this time.
