Jackson State picks up a former four star wide receiver out of Tennessee

VICKSBURG, Miss. (Vicksburg Daily News)–Jackson State University picked up a former four-star wide receiver transfer from the University of Tennessee on Monday.

Malachi Wideman will now join the Tigers’ program after spending his freshman season at Tennessee where he saw action in six games.

Wideman stands at 6’4 and will compete against a group of talented wide receivers for a starting position this fall. He was one of the country’s top-ranked wide receivers out of high school in the class of 2020.

JSU will open its season against Florida A&M on September 5, 2021.
