Jackson State University football player Markel Gladney has now transferred to Mississippi Valley State to continue his football career.

Gladney posted his decision on social media on Wednesday where he is seen in his MVSU uniform.

Gladney recently played defensive back for the Tigers where he finished the Spring season with 12 tackles and a half sack.

During the 2019 season, Gladney had his best year where he racked up 28 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss and one pass deflection.

Gladney is one of a few JSU players who have recently transferred from the school where huge prospects will be eligible to play the fall.

Gladney still has one year of of eligibility left and should be an impact player for MVSU this season.
