JSU football season ends due to COVID-19 protocol

Jackson State University spring football season comes to an end as their last game against Prairie View A&M has been canceled due to COVID-19 protocols.

The announcement of the game’s cancellation came on Tuesday and it will not be made up, which concludes the Tigers’ season.

JSU finished with a 4-3 record under head coach Deion Sanders and will have their fall 2021 season opener on Sept. 5 against Florida A&M.
