Vicksburg Junior High School football player JT Gaines scored the Gators’ only touchdown on Tuesday in a 14-6 loss to Madison Middle School.

The eighth-grader scored on a 25-yard touchdown run to help keep the score close between the Gators and the Jaguars.

VJHS will play again at home against Ridgeland on Tuesday.
