Kelsey Snowden: VDN female player of the week for 5th and 6th grade league

Kelsey Snowden is the Vicksburg Daily News fifth-grade female player of the week for her performance in her game Thursday where she scored 15 points.

Snowden plays basketball for the Starzz where she is the lead scorer for her team, coached by her father Brian Snowden. The Starzz is a team consisting of fifth and sixth graders around the Vicksburg-Warren School District all competing for a championship.

Snowden’s 15 points helped her team to an 18-10 victory over the Bears on Thursday.

Snowden is a fifth-grader at Warren Central Intermediate where basketball is one of her favorite hobbies.
