Vicksburg High School wide receiver Keveon Smith was the Gators top receiver last season for VHS quarterback Shakori Regan, and he will return this year to help lead the offense.

Smith is a senior this season. Last year, he led the Gators in receiving yards finishing with 476 yards and 34 catches.

Along with his impressive yardage throughout the 2019 season, Smith also caught five touchdowns for the Gator offense who was mostly known for its running game in recent years.

Smith and the Gators finished with a 3-8 season last year, but the team is returning plenty of talent from last year so the Gators look forward to a promising season this year. Smith played most of his varsity years under former head coach Tim Hughes, but he will play this year under new head coach Tod McDaniel.
