Kyleigh Cooper led on the rubber for St. Aloysius during the MRA Tournament

St. Aloysius softball player Kyleigh Cooper had a good performance on the rubber over the weekend.

In victories over Madison-Ridgeland Academy and Jackson Academy on Saturday, Cooper struck out 14 batters and only allowed two runs in the tournament.

She now has a total of 25 strikeouts on the year, just three games into her sophomore season.

The Lady Flashes are scheduled to host Jackson Academy on Tuesday.
