Lady Eagles defeated Deer Creek 70-20 on Thursday

Porter’s Chapel Academy girl’s basketball team took down Deer Creek 70-20 on Thursday.

The Lady Eagles quickly took a 22-6 lead in the first quarter as Hannah Henderson and Tiara Sims both made shots while Marley Bufkin knock down two 3-pointers. By halftime, PCA was up 42-12 as Sophie Masterson hit a shot along with a 3-pointer.

Sims and Henderson remained hot in the second half while Anjel Walton hit got a few points as PCA secured the win.

Sims led with 31 points on the night while Henderson put up 14. Bufkin had a varsity career-high of 12 points and Masterson finished with seven. Walton also added six.
