Lady Flashes grabbed a 1-0 win over the Forerunners

St. Aloysius girl’s soccer team grabbed a 1-0 victory over the the Hattiesburg Forerunners on Thursday night.

“We needed this game and our defense played  great so I’m glad everything worked out in our favor,” Flashes Head Coach Gio Baldizon said.

Madi Matthews scored the only goal of the game in the first half as St. Aloysius’ defense dominated to stop the Forerunners all night.

Madelyn Roesch had six saves for the Lady Flashes as the entire defense gave a dominating effort to help St. Al take home the win.
