Lady Flashes held strong against Simpson Academy on Thursday

St. Aloysius’ softball team held strong against Simpson Academy on Thursday, narrowly losing 2-1.

Just a couple of weeks ago, the Lady Flashes suffered a 13-0 loss to SA, managing only four hits. However, in Thursday night’s match, St. Al rallied with 11 hits. Kyleigh Cooper stood out, going 3 for 4 at the plate and securing one RBI.

Lili Perniciaro and Madison Spencer both achieved a 2 for 4 record, while Ruthie Britton, Megan Theriot, Presley Brister and Ali G. Luke each contributed one hit.

With a 10-4 record for the season, the Lady Flashes will host Copiah Academy on Monday.
