Lady Flashes racked up hits in loss to Central Hinds on Monday

The St. Aloysius softball team outhit Central Hinds on Monday but eventually fell short of a win in the 9-5 loss.

Kyleigh Cooper threw nine strikeouts for the second game in a row for the Lady Flashes.

The third inning is where St. Aloysius found their strive and racked up multiple hits while scoring three runs.

Maddy McSherry had three RBIs while going 2 for 4 at the plate. Cooper went 2 for 3 with three run scores. Teammates Lili Perniciaro, Ali Grace Luke, Lydia Nettles and Christine Wallace all grabbed one hit.

The Lady Flashes can redeem themselves tonight as they take on Adams County Christian School in an away game.
