Lady Vikes defeat McComb 38-23, boys fall short in close match

Warren Central High School girl’s basketball team played at Southwest Community College on Saturday and took out McComb 38-23.

Zy Segrest grabbed seven rebounds and led the team with 13 points. Ta’Mya Sims managed nine points with six steals.

With this win, the Lady Vikes improved their record to 9-5.

On the boy’s side, Taylor Mitchell led with 18 points in the 51-46 loss. Deonta Segrest added 13 and Gaylon Turner finished with 12.
