Lady Vikes defeat Missy Gators in three sets on Thursday

Warren Central High School defeated Vicksburg High School volleyball team in three sets(25-22, 25-6, 25-17) on Thursday night.

Both the Missy Gators and Lady Vikes went at it in the first set as they continued to tie the game. WC eventually took control and pulled off the first set with a 25-22 final.

The Lady Vikes had no issue in the final two sets as they took home the victory by continuing to fight throughout the entire game.

Skylar Beard stepped up for WC with nine kills while Mirannda Dixon led with eight aces on the night. Ellie Henderson and Dixon both had three kills each while Melissa Herrle got four kills.

WC’s record advanced to 2-2 on the year and VHS stands at 3-2.
