Lady Vikes picked up two wins on Saturday

Warren Central High School softball team won twice on Saturday in the South Panola Tournament.

Game one vs. Oxford 

WC defeated Oxford 3-1 on Saturday.

Abby Morgan started things off by striking out a couple of batters in the first inning. Zion Harvey got the first hit of the day to put her on base where she would soon get a run from a steal at home.

Midway in the game, Kayleigh Karel got a hit and later on Morgan would single to bring in a run just shortly before Kamryn Morson got the final RBI to put the score at 3-1.

Morgan struck out seven and allowed two hits. She also had one hit along with Harvey and Karel.

Game two vs. West Harrison:

WC picked up a 1-0 win over West Harrison in an intense match.

In the seventh inning, Jenn Smith singled that led to Fancher getting the run to win the game.

Smith, Kamryn Morson and Sarah Cameron Fancher each had a hit in the win.

Morgan struck out three and Maddy Pant struck out one.
