Vicksburg High School girl’s basketball player Layla Carter helped her team to a win over Northwest Rankin on Thursday.

In the 62-59 win, Carter scored 17 points and grabbed seven rebounds with two steals.

The Missy Gators will participate in a tournament in Tennessee beginning on Wednesday.
