Leona Pugh Robinson, 1939 – 2023

A Celebration of Life will be held for Leona Pugh Robinson on Saturday, February 4, 2023, 2:00 PM at New Rock of Ages Baptist Church, 2944 Letitia St, Vicksburg, MS.

Visitation will be held at C J Williams Mortuary Services, 4310 Halls Ferry Road, Vicksburg, MS on Friday, February 3, 2023 from 1:00 – 6:00 PM with family being present from 5:00 – 6:00 PM.

Leona was born March 31, 1939, in Vicksburg, MS, to Marie Bowman and Ezikel Pugh. On Friday, January 27, 2023, in the peacefulness of her home, Leona entered eternal life at age 83.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marie Bowman and Ezikel Pugh of Vicksburg, MS; two sisters, Mary Flowers of Chicago, IL, and Dorothy Jones of Los Angeles, CA; two brothers, Johnny Bowman of San Francisco, CA, and Fred Mitchell of Los Angeles, CA; one grandson, Johnathan Hicks of Vicksburg, MS; and one special aunt, Magnolia Gardner of Vicksburg, MS.

Leona Pugh Robinson leaves to cherish her memory: three sons, Bill Robinson of Vicksburg, MS, Richard Robinson of Jackson, MS, and Harold McWade, Jr. (Rena), of Clinton, MS; three daughters, Linda Pugh (Leon), Dorothy Robinson, and Tiffany Walker (Michael), all of Vicksburg, MS; 12 grandchildren, Terrell Robinson, Makayla Walker, Dame Beard, Corbin Walker, Peyton Walker, A’Mirichael Goodman, and Michael Goodman, all of Vicksburg, MS, Jeremy Robinson (Latoya), Harold McWade III, Tyrese McWade, all of Clinton, MS, Terrance Thompson (Adrianne) of Kileen, TX, and Latonya Heard of Chicago, IL; one goddaughter, April Jones of Vicksburg, MS; her special cousin, Catherine Davis of Vicksburg, MS; 19 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
