In July 2022, Anna Burnett Tillotson along with her father, Jeff Burnett, Kevin Ford and Brad Bounds bought Staffing Solutions from Mike Smith, who founded the company in the early 2000s.

Tillotson was born and raised in Vicksburg where she graduated from Warren Central High School and went on to get her BS in Education from Mississippi State. Tillotson is also a 3rd generation business owner in town.

“My paternal grandfather owns and operates Mid-South Lumber and Supply, my maternal grandfather owns and operates Richard Cowart Incorporated. My father has a business here in town, Fluids, Incorporated,” said Tillotson.

Anna is the oldest of four with two sisters and a brother and has two boys of her own, Nicholas, 7, and Drake, 10. She and Derrick Tillotson have been married since 2010.

“Staffing Solutions is an agency that is located in Vicksburg,” explained Tillotson. “It has always been locally owned and operated. When we purchased the business in July it stayed locally owned and operated.”

Over the years, thousands of people have been helped by Staffing Solutions to find the right job and hundreds of employers have solved their staffing needs by using Staffing Solutions.

Tillotson explained, “We have great positions for people who are just starting out. We have great positions for people who are wanting a career.”

“We’re also able to help our employees with other fields other than just a job. Myself and my office manager both have experience in the social work field. So we’re really able to help people not only with a job but also any services they may need elsewhere,” continued Tillotson.

If you are looking for a position, “It doesn’t cost you a thing. All you have to do is fill out an application and pass a background check and drug test,” said Tillotson. “We take applications Monday through Friday from 8 to 3.”
