Ed Orgeron will not return as LSU’s head football coach next season as the Tigers currently sit at a 4-3 record.

Although two years ago the Tigers went 15-0 with a National Championship, the administration has decided to part ways with their coach.

Orgeron is expected to finish out the 2021 season where the team recently defeated Florida in a 49-42 win on Saturday.

Even though Orgeron will be out of a job after the season, LSU will still owe him $20 million to buyout his contract.

LSU is scheduled to play Ole Miss on October 23 where Orgeron is still expected to be the head coach.
