Luke Letlow, 41, dies of COVID-19

Louisiana Congressman-elect Luke Letlow died Tuesday at Ochsner LSU Health in Shreveport of COVID-19.
Letlow, 41, tested positive for COVID-19 on Dec. 18, was hospitalized by the next day and was moved into the ICU within a week.

Letlow is survived by his wife, Julia, and their two young children. He had just been elected to serve in the 5th Congressional District seat in a Dec. 3 run-off election.
Louisiana Gov. John Bel Edwards took to social media to send condolences to the Letlow family.
