The victim in the shooting death on Martha Street has been identified.

Warren County Deputy Coroner Daryl Carson identified the deceased as 21-year-old Dapeytric Coleman.

Shots fired were reported around 8:20 p.m. A young man was hit at least three times. A second gunshot victim sustained injuries to the leg and was at Carr Central Apartments.

The second victim was taken to Merit Health River Region and was treated then released.

One person has been taken into custody for their role in this homicide. More arrests are anticipated.
