MDWFP releases State of the Herd series in preparation for deer season

Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks has released the State of the Herd, a four part series with Deer Program Coordinator William McKinley that breaks down the state of Mississippi’s white-tail deer herd, shares past research results, statistics from prior seasons, and a looks at what research is coming up in partnership with other organizations such as Mississippi State’s Deer Lab.
