Mississippi man arrested on five sex-crime charges

On Thursday, May 4, 2023, Officers of the Olive Branch Police Department arrested and
charged Daniel Paul Harris, 44, of Neil Avenue, Olive Branch, with two counts of sexual
abuse, two counts of sexual battery, and one count of unnatural intercourse. Mr. Harris
received a total bond of $725,000.

As this remains an active and ongoing investigation, we will not release any additional
information that may impede this investigation. Additionally, the Olive Branch Police Department would like to thank the Office of District Attorney Bob Morris, the Southaven Police Department, and the DeSoto County Sheriff’s office for their assistance in this investigation.
