Vicksburg High School girl’s basketball team defeated Forest Hill 54-41 on Tuesday.

Janiah Caples scored 21 points in the win and Layla Carter finished with 15 points and eight rebounds. Ja’Na Colenburg grabbed seven rebounds and scored six points while Cynia Johnson and Kierra James both put up three points. Rodrianna Bland, Jelisa Tyler and Kalia Bland all had two points.

VHS will host Jim Hill on Friday.
