Vicksburg High School girl’s basketball team defeated Yazoo City 66-31 on Tuesday.

Janiah Caples led the Missy Gators with 20 points, three assists, and seven steals followed by Layla Carter who had 12 points, eight steals, and six rebounds. Rodrianna Hall put up seven points while Kierra James and Ja’Na Colenburg both added six.

The VHS boy’s basketball team took their first loss last night to Yazoo City with a score of 68-46. Malik Franklin had 22 points and Davian Williams scored 13.

VHS will host McComb on Friday.
