Missy Gators picked up a district win over Brookhaven on Thursday

Vicksburg High School volleyball team picked up a win on Thursday against Brookhaven to remain undefeated in district play.

“The girls played great, especially our freshman who brings plenty of pressure no matter who we are playing,” head coach Deborah Brown said.

The Missy Gators defeated Brookhaven in a 3-0 set where Avery VanNorman, Lexi and Lili Kistler, Kennedy Mullens and Mary Katherine Archer all made huge contributions to the victory.

“They all did outstanding work and they bring so much energy to the team and we will not any for anything less than district champions,” Brown added.

The Missy Gators will travel to Raymond on Tuesday.
