Mixon arrested again for firearm possession

21-year-old Tyler Mixon was arrested on Friday, June 18 and charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon after a rap video recorded within the city showed Mixon and others openly displaying firearms. Officers on the VPD Narcotics/NET Team made the arrest.
Mixon appeared before Judge Angela Carpenter in Vicksburg Municipal Court on Monday, where he was given a $30,000 bond and bound over to the Warren County Grand Jury.
Mixon was arrested on the same charges twice last year, in April and in August.
