Moore and Sanders dominant in the collegiate level last week

Vicksburg natives Tyron Moore and Aniya Sanders both dominated the court last week for Meridian Community College and Copiah-Lincoln Community College last week.

Moore scored 19 points for Meridian CC in their 80-67 win over East Central. The former VHS player is becoming a dominant force for Meridian and they currently have a 2-2 record.

Moore and Meridian CC will take on Jones CC Monday, Feb. 8 at 6 p.m.

Sanders also put in a great performance for the Co-Lin Wolves as she helped lead her team to victory. She scored nine points in the 63-60 win over Pearl River.

Sanders and the Wolves will face Jones on Thursday, Feb. 11 at 6 p.m.
