MSU assistant basketball coach Willis resigns

Mississippi State University women’s assistant basketball coach Malikah Willis has resigned from the team.

Willis joined the Bulldogs in September 2021 and has not been on the bench since December, after rumors of a dispute with interim coach Doug Novak after a loss to Troy.

MSU confirmed Willis’ resignation on Thursday and it is not clear on her next move.
