Mississippi State defensive lineman Fabien Lovett is transferring to Florida State University.

”It’s official #GoNoles,” Lovett said in a Facebook post with a picture of him wearing the FSU football uniform.

Lovett decided to transfer shortly after MSU head coach Mike Leach shared a tweet of a lady knitting a noose, which offended many people at the university.

Lovett was a huge part of the Bulldogs defense last season starring on the defensive line under former coach Joe Moorhead. Florida State has gained a great defensive player who will make a great impact on the team once he hits the football field.

Due to NCAA transfer rules, Lovett will have to sit out the 2020 season but will be eligible to play in 2021.
