MSU’s Leach bumped to $5.5 million per year after contract extension

Mississippi State Head Football Coach Mike Leach has signed a contract extension that will take him throughout the 2025 season.

With the new extension, Leach’s salary has been bumped up to $5.5 million. He made $5 million the year before.

Leach is headed into his third year as head coach. He went 7-6 in 2021 and 4-6 in 2020.

The Bulldogs will face Memphis in the season opener on Sep. 3.
