MVC on Old Highway 27

At 9:15 p.m. an MVC occurred on Old Highway 27 where asingle 2- door vehicle left the roadway and ended up in a ditch.

First responders arrived on the scene to discover a seven year old with a minor injury and the driver of the vehicle with an arm injury.  The youth was transported to the hospital by a private vehicle.

Traffic in the area is now clear.
