Natchez police rescue burglar dangling from ceiling

A would-be burglar in Natchez called 911 for help after his daring robbery attempt left him trapped around 9 p.m. Sunday.

The Natchez Police rescued Willie Dobbins, 19, of Hattiesburg, from the Frazier Elementary School after the man’s failed attempt to rappel into the school from the roof, WLBT reported. Police found Dobbins hanging from the ceiling in the cafeteria of the school.

Dobbins is now in the custody of the Natchez Police Department with minor injuries.
