Nick Anderson released by the Saints

Vicksburg native Nick Anderson has been released by the New Orleans Saints, according to multiple news sources.

Anderson signed an undrafted free agent contract back in April after starring at linebacker at Tulane.

The cut was due to the mandatory 53-man roster that each NFL team must have by the beginning of the season.

Anderson can still be signed to another team or their practice squad before the deadline ends.
