One person shot, another stabbed on Halls Ferry Road

Warren County Sheriff’s officials are on the scene of an incident in the 4500 block of Halls Ferry Road that was reported around 8:30 p.m.
One person was reportedly suffering from a gunshot wound to the head and has been transported to Merit Health River Region, from there the victim will be airlifted to the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.
A second victim suffering from a knife wound has also been transported to Merit Health. The wound is not believed to be life-threatening.
Traffic is being diverted around and away from the crime scene.
