PCA crushed Humphreys Academy 44-6

Porter’s Chapel Academy football team improved to 5-0 on the year after defeating Humphreys Academy with a running clock in the final three quarters.

Jase Jung rushed for 115 yards and two touchdowns from four carries. Ty Mack had 85 all-purpose yards and two touchdowns while Thomas Azlin had 93 receiving yards and a touchdown. Gavin Pugh also caught a 10 yard touchdown.

John Wyatt Massey took the snaps at quarterback and finished the night by completing 7 of 8 passes with 143 yards and three touchdowns.

Hunter Simms grabbed six tackles on defense as well as Pugh who had six tackles and an interception. Jung added five tackles to his statistics and Massey had a sack and four tackles.

PCA will host Park Place Academy on Friday.
