PCA defeated Humphreys Academy

Porter’s Chapel Academy boys and girls’ basketball team pulled off wins over Humphrey’s Academy.

Lady Eagles:

The Lady Eagles crushed Humphrey’s Academy 59-24 as Jae’la Smith stood out with 36 points, seven steals and seven rebounds. Marley Bufkin hit two 3-pointers and finished with 10 points while Lauren Madison added six  points and seven rebounds. Sophie Masterson grabbed 10 rebounds to go with her four points and Emily Muirhead hit a 3-pointer.

PCA boys:

The boys grabbed a 50-48 win over HA as Ty Mack led the way with 14 points and seven rebounds. Gavin White hit three 3-pointers and finished with 11 on the board while Taylor LaBarre pitched in nine points. Noah Porter had four assists and eight points and Jase Jung added six points while Hunter Simms contribute two.

PCA will host Briarfield on Thursday.
