PCA defeats Deer Creek 3-2 on Monday

Porter’s Chapel Academy baseball team made a fifth inning comeback to defeat Deer Creek 3-2 on Monday.

DC went up 1-0 in the first inning after getting a run score on a error. PCA wouldn’t respond until the fifth inning when they grabbed three scores.

Laken Bradley hit a ground ball and reached on a error. Zach Ashley and John Wyatt Massey run scores in the fifth inning.

Both sides pitched well as Gage Palmer struck out 11 in the win. Taylor Labarre pitched in the final inning.

Bradley went 2 for 4 at the plate while John Wyatt Massey and Palmer both got one hit.

PCA will host DC on Tuesday.
