PCA high school and jr. high boy’s basketball team picked up wins over SIA on Monday

Porter’s Chapel Academy High School and Junior High boy’s basketball team picked up wins over Sharkey-Issaquena Monday night.

The varsity team had a 67-40 victory, led by Nic Williams who scored 20 points and grabbed seven rebounds, followed by Chris Taylor who added 17 points with five steals.

Taylor Labarre also got in double digits for PCA by putting up 12 points and snatching five rebounds.

Willie Rogers, Jr. scored eight points while Chase Hearn came right behind him with six. Both managed to grab 10 rebounds.

Junior High Game:

PCA came away with a 42-11 win over SIA on Monday afternoon with Jase Jung leading the team with 20 points and eight rebounds.

DJ Smith came in clutch with seven rebounds, along with nine points. Grayson Price managed to drop five on the board.

JR Brumfield and Hunter Simms also added four points each in the blowout victory.
