Porter’s Chapel Academy came away with two wins in a doubleheader against Vicksburg Junior High on Thursday.

Game one:

A few steals from the Gators gave them a 4-0 first-inning lead until the Eagles got on the board with a steal of their own. Hancock also got a steal in the second for PCA as the Gators led 4-2 heading into the third.

J Odom would get Vicksburg’s final run after another steal in the third but PCA responded with two runs after Chad Fuson and Lakelan Pecanty both scored from errors.

Late in the game, the bases were full when PCA’s batter was hit by a pitch followed by a line drive from Coltin Hancock that brought in the final two runs as the Eagles won 7-5.
