Porter’s Chapel Academy girl’s basketball took down Benton Academy in a 58-43 win at home.

BA struck first with a 3-pointer. The Lady Eagles quickly responded and took over game. Anjel Walton and Tiara Sims managed to get some key buckets in the first quarter to put PCA up 15-5.

Benton got things rolling offensively in the second quarter but couldn’t manage to stop the Lady Eagles’ offense as they went into halftime with a score 29-17.

PCA turned it up a notch in the second half and continued to put up major points on Benton. Zy Smith added seven points for PCA and Marley Bufkin contributed five.
