PCA took down Kemper Academy 74-37 in the first round

Porter’s Chapel Academy boy’s basketball team took down Kemper Academy 74-37 in the first round on Monday.

Ty Mack got things going with two 3-pointers in the first quarter followed by one from Jase Jung. By halftime, PCA had a 40-22 lead after Lawson Selby and Noah Porter both knocked down some buckets.

Porter continued to dominate in the second half while Jung hit two more 3-pointers to help put the game out of reach.

Porter led the Eagles with 19 points while Mack and Selby both added 15 points and 10 rebounds each. Jung finished with 12 points and Nathan Austin added five. Tyler Halter scored three points and Chase Hearn ended the night with two.

The Eagles will play Lee Academy on Wednesday.
