Police are investigating shots fired during a fight on Monday

Police officers responded to the Adams and Fayette Streets area just after 9 p.m. on Monday.
A call was dispatched in reference to shots being fired.
Witnesses in the area state that the incident began when a group of juveniles started fighting. At some point in the scuffle shots were fired.
Shell casings were collected at the scene and a nearby car was shot into. Luckily, the vehicle was parked and unoccupied.
