Popeye’s Louisiana Kitchen has now made an unexpected move to get rid of the Cajun Rice and Green Beans from their menu.

“At Popeyes, we are always listening to feedback from our guests and looking for ways to improve our menu,” the fast-food chain told Southern Living Magazine. “So, after thoughtful consideration, our Cajun Rice and Green Beans are no longer on the permanent. However, we still have a bunch of delicious sides.”

Popeyes is a local favorite with two locations here in Vicksburg; the original restaurant at 3309 Pemberton Square Blvd. that has been serving the community for many years, along with the new location at 2931 Clay Street that was added last year.
