Port Gibson native Jacory Rankin named MVSU student-athlete of the week

Port Gibson native Jacory Rankin has been named Mississippi Valley State University student-athlete of the week.

MVSU made the announcement on Tuesday, just a few days after Rankin caught seven catches for 73 yards against Delta State.

MVSU soccer player McKenzie McCarthy also was named the student-athlete of the week.

The Delta Devils will play at Jackson State on Saturday.
