Porter’s Chapel Academy girl’s basketball team season ends in a loss to Newton Academy.

Porter’s Chapel Academy girl’s basketball team’s season came to an end on Thursday in a 48-30 loss to Newton Academy.

Hannah Henderson helped PCA take a 13-9 lead in the first quarter with multiple layups. By halftime the Lady Eagles had a 21-20 lead as Tiara Sims and Sophie Masterson got on the board.

PCA had a rough second half where they only scored nine points in total which resulted in the tough loss.

Henderson and Anjel Walton both had 10 points and Tiara Sims added six points. Masterson ended the night with six points.

The Lady Eagles finished with a 17-7 record under Head Coach Casey Fisher.
